About North Marshall Pediatrics

Our mission is to provide the highest quality of pediatric care with kindness and compassion to all of our patients and their families. Our entire staff at North Marshall Pediatrics recognizes that every child and family is unique. Therefore, we strive to provide individualized care with dignity and respect. While our providers are experts in pediatric medicine, we acknowledge that parents are experts regarding their children's needs.

We provide patients with a SEPARATE WAITING ROOM for our WELL/NEWBORN children.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and closed for lunch from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. For our holiday hours and any unexpected office closings, please be sure to check out our Facebook page.

Dr. David Chupp

Dr. David Chupp


David Chupp received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 1992 and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  He completed his residency through Harvard’s primary care track program at Children’s Hospital of Boston.  He then moved to Guntersville to join Dr. Packard in his pediatric practice in 1995. 
 
Dr. Chupp is married to Shirley Lanham Chupp.  Shirley taught in the Guntersville School System when they first moved to Alabama, but she has since completed her Master’s Degree from Asbury Seminary and has served as a Pastoral Counselor and as Director for Marshall County Homeless Ministries. David and Shirley have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.


The Chupps enjoy living in a small town and taking part in the community events of Marshall County.  David and Shirley were named “Humanitarians of the Year” in 2014 by the Marshall County Interagency Council for their work with “Room in the Inn” a homeless ministry in Marshall County.  David has served in the past as interim music minister and also as praise team leader at local churches.   David has also been involved in many productions at the Wholebackstage in Guntersville. He has written or co-written and produced 6 musicals for local theater and benefits for the homeless ministry. David and Shirley have also participated in foreign mission projects and have done medical mission work in Mexico, Guatemala, Ecuador, and Ghana.  

Dr. Chupp was recognized by his peers for his service to the children of Alabama with the “Master Pediatrician” award in 2017.  This is given to one pediatrician in the state each year by the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Dr. Chupp considers it an even greater honor to have the opportunity to see children that were once his patients now coming back as parents with their own children as patients at North Marshall Pediatrics.

Dr. Don Jones


Dr. Don E. Jones is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, and a graduate of Virgil I. Grissom High School. He attended Auburn University, where he earned both a B.S. in Zoology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree. He practiced small animal veterinary medicine in Huntsville for four years before deciding to pursue a career in human medicine. Dr. Jones graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2004. Prior to graduating, he received the Excellent Patient Communications Award. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital in June of 2007. He is a board certified pediatrician.

Dr. Jones has been working as a pediatrician in Marshall County since completing his residency. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four children: Jack, Abby Kaye, Mallory, and Spencer. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and driving his antique British cars.

Dr. Jones considers practicing pediatric medicine to be a privilege, and he works to provide knowledgeable and compassionate care to every family. He is dedicated to providing the best care possible for the patients of North Marshall Pediatrics, P.C.

Lindsay Miller, CRNP

Lindsay Miller, CRNP


Lindsay grew up in Duck Springs, Alabama and graduated from Sardis High School in 2003.  After high school, she attended Snead State Community College and was a part of the first Registered Nursing program at Snead. She graduated from Snead in 2006 with her Associates Degree in Nursing and began working at Gadsden Regional Hospital as an R.N.  Shortly after starting at GRMC, she enrolled in the Bachelor’s of Nursing program at Jacksonville State University. She graduated from JSU in August 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She continued to work at GRMC in Med-Surg and ICU departments. In August 2011, she was accepted into graduate school at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She graduated with her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in December 2012.  She has had the privilege of treating children in Marshall County since February of 2013.

Lindsay married her best friend, Barry Miller, in May of 2007.  They live on a small farm in Aroney, right outside of Boaz.  They have three beautiful little boys, Hayden, Marshall, and Easton.  They are also certified Foster Parents for Etowah County. They are active members at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Attalla.  They are a travel baseball family and love fishing and being outdoors.

Lindsay feels the Lord has truly blessed her and her family!
